Advantage
Disadvantage
DNA is unique; genetic diversity
STD’s easily transmitted
Lineage able to last longer; hundreds or thousands of years
Needs a male and a female
Large chance of evolution taking place
No guarantee that an offspring will be born
Asexual reproduction:
Advantage
Disadvantage
Rapidly expand population
No evolution possible
Larger guarantee for offspring to be born
Lineages won’t usually last more than thousand years
Less steps to follow so less variables could go wrong
Diseases and other bad qualities passed down directly from parent because DNA is a replication.
